Here .. begins my journey

Every year I watch the biggest loser.. and every time I say to myself.. "I can do that to" but never actually do it. I know I have the power to do it, but keeping the motivation going is always my biggest challenge. I always complain about doing it on my own. So now I say NO MORE!!! I gained this weight on my own and I will lose it ON MY OWN!!!

My Goal is 50 pounds by 2012

Starting weight is 258
I plan on weighing in every Friday morning.
I plan on watching my calories, cutting out rice, bread & pasta, more veggies & fruits & most important no more or juices.
Exercise 20 minutes in the morning and walk at least 1 hour every afternoon.
These are just my starting goals and I am trying to be as realistic as possible. I know its a long journey and I didn't gain this weight overnight .. so I don't plan for it to go away overnight either.

Follow me on my journey and say a prayer for me and this challenge ahead of me.

And a side warning: I get really cranky when I am hungry so if I am cranky these next few weeks you will know why. lol

I will post my before pic this Friday at my first weigh in.
